Really great authentic experience! This tour is really a great thing to do in Kyoto! To have a guided tour on a market is amazing, since You get to know a lot of things that you would not know if you would go by yourself. Tatsuya (our guide and owner of the company) explained us about different spices, fishes and other ingredients. We tried of lot of different food. We then walked to he cooking studio which is a very famous one, almost all young Japanese women take classes there. Therefore the experience is really authentic. We learned how to make miso soup, different kinds of sushi and the famous omelette. We were a group of four friends from Switzerland and can only recommend this tour.
