We will start from the introduction to the brief history of Japanese language and calligraphy, and then I will explain how Japanese people learn calligraphy nowadays.
And after the introduction, let's start learning how to write in Kanji.
I will teach you how to write basic lines and words one by one to complete Kanji first and then we can practice the whole Kanji in the end.

A super fun workshop that incorporated some of the history and social importance of calligraphy as we worked through our own strokes with the guidance of our experienced guide. Eventually we got to have a try at our own kanji character and felt a great sense of accomplishment to have it all come together. Wonderful!
