Yuko was our tour guide and she was fabulous! She was approachable, flexible, and more than happy to teach about the local cuisine. She walked us through the market (our favorite part) and took us to the best stands. We ended the tour at a dessert/tea shop that served dessert so good that the kids still talk about the sweet bread filled with ice cream. Yuko then gave us recommendations for restaurants and the best routes for transportation. Thank you for a wonderful day Yuko!

My tour guide Yukio is intelligent, fluent in English, and very concerned with my well-being. My tour was really informative about the operation of the Tsujiki Market and the enormous variety of food sold there. I learned a lot about Japanese cuisine, as the variety of food sold in the outer market goes well beyond fish. I highly recommend this tour.

We had a great tour! Sashimi was lovely and so knowledgeable. She took her time and shared with us so much interesting information. It was a great way to see the inner and outer fish market and Asakusa and a wonderful way to kick off our trip. Thanks!

We had an absolutely delightful tour of Tsukiji and Sensoji in Asakusa with our tour guide Yoko. Her English was perfect and having an English speaking tour guide allowed us to ask so many questions about all the new, wonderful and sometimes odd things (whale meat!) we saw at Tsukiji. We would never have seen and tried all the things we got to do try if we had visited on our own. We definitely feel like we had the VIP treatment and inside information during our tour. We had a great experience thanks to this tour and give it our highest recommendation.

Awesome tour of the markets. Learned so much about Japanese food and culture - was a wonderful way to spend a day off work in tokyo. Highly recommended.

An excellent introduction to the Tsukiji Fish Market and Asakusa - Yuki was wonderful, very patient when we browsed the market for fresh and dried fish. Highly recommended for newcomers to Tokyo!

Absolutely fabulous tour. Our guide, Hiro, was amazing and so knowledgeable. We had such a good day with her. The food was yummy, the people friendly. She gave us great directions for the inner fish market and met us where we were supposed to meet. Everything ran so well. We even spent more time with Hiro as she helped us get our train back to our hotel. And the bonus sake at 11am was wonderful as was the stand up sushi lunch. Would highly recommend this tour.

Our Tour with Yukio was absolutely amazing! He was very informative about everything we got to see throughout the whole of the Fish Markets and Asakusa, and was more than happy to explain any questions we had while on the tour. The sushi we had after the fish markets was incredible, the best tasting sushi we have ever had! We are so glad we got to meet Yukio and have his expertise and knowledge while we walked around as we learnt many things that we wouldn't have had we just walked around on our own.

The tour was excellent, and Yuko was the perfect guide for our group of four. We had a lot of questions, and she answered them all with solid information and with a good sense of humor, when appropriate. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tokyo. The choices of stops (and tastings) along the way were well-selected. Through them, and with Yuko's excellent guidance, we learned not only about Japanese cuisine, but Japanese history as well.

This tour is great! We really experienced the cultural side of Japan. Visiting temples, touring the fish market, even taking the subway was fun. We experienced new tastes and we will never forget the time we spent in Tokyo. This tour has been informative and has left a good impression on the people who live there. They are the kindest people we have come to meet. And I would take this tour again in a heartbeat.

The tour was very enjoyable and my guide Yoshika was great. She was very knowledgable and I learnt a lot as we walked through Tsukiji outer and inner market and Asakusa. She was always looking to make the tour as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. It was very nice to sample a number of dishes in the market. I highly recommend this tour and my guide Yoshika.

My sister and I took the Tsukiji Fish Market and Ginza tour October 2016 and totally enjoyed it Our guide, Yeonmi, was extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Her passion and joy for what she does is quite evident . She was very patient and went out of her way to ensure that my sister and I had a wonderful experience. I will definitely contact this tour company again at my next visit.

Amazing experience! Would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tokyo. Our guide Noriko was very knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions. She made the extra effort to ensure we were all comfortable and enjoying the tour. Thankyou Noriko!

We loved how this expert guided tour showed the unique rituals & sacred aspects of both Temples that we visited. The vast selections of produce in the historic Tsukiji Markets was incredible. Plenty of great photo opportunities :) Delightful food, sake, sushi tasting! The length of time walking & standing on our feet was actually only downfall..Both of us were just so physically exhausted by the end of afternoon, it was impossible to do anything else. The extra part - tour to Asakusa is just too much, better to finish with the Sushi lunch stop. So grateful for this experience, Arigato Gazimas

What a WONDERFUL tour Michiko took my sister and I on. We met another great couple from Boston. Michiko taught us so much about the Japanese culture, showed us how to wash our hands, described the difference between a temple and shrine, taught us how to properly pray at the temple which meant a lot to me as my mother's side of the family are Japanese and it was something I had never known how to do. We ate a lot so go hungry! The fish market was amazing to walk through as was going to Asakusa. I highly suggest taking this tour and hopefully you will get Michiko as your guide. She was fantastic!

Our was tour guide Yoshikowas so friendly and fun to be with . We were sad when the tour ended . She was very knowledgeable about the seafood (and spices and vegetables ) and we were able to enter the inner market as it was breaking down but still working in some areas . ( the workers tolerate the peresence ) She helped us to understand the two subways and surface rail schedules in the way to busy Asakusa market and the Sensoji shrine . We sat with her in a tea house in the coincident company of two ladies in colorful kimonos that brought the whole scene to life . Five plus star , her love and sharing of Japan was infectious . (BTW We were two mature American guys on the way to Hokkaido to ski off piste )
by tsukiya and asakusa .. amazing guide and tour (01/30/17)
Yuriko was our guide for the day. She is very experienced and super friendly. She doesn't hesitate to help or answer any question we have. Overall, the tour was very interesting and eye opening. It was a good experience to walk around the market and try all the different tasty food. Loved the vibe and energy of the place. 10 out of 10 would recommend people to take up this tour if they are going to Tsukiji. I'm sure the experience will be different since you'll be brought around by a local.

We had such an amazing time on this tour with Sachimi! The whole day has a laid back feel, almost as if you are walking around touring with friends. The small group setting was great and allowed us to ask questions not only about Tsukiji and Asakusa, but also about Japanese culture and customs. We were able to see so many things I don't think we would've been able to navigate on our own. Sachimi took us all around the inner and outer fish market, where we were able to taste lots of fresh seafood, sake, a Japanese-style omelet, matcha tea, sweets, dried bonito, and more. The sushi lunch was incredible - the freshest tuna I think I've ever tasted. Following lunch we went to Asakusa, which was not something we had planned to do on our own, but were so happy it was part of the tour. Sensō-ji was beautiful!

This tour was fantastic!!!! Our great tour guide (Masayuki / "Mike" for short) coupled with this being a small group experience (only 4 of us total) made for a very informative and enjoyable day. Although we currently reside in the Kanagawa area, we chose this tour due to our visiting relatives and wanting someone else to drive the experience for a while. Not knowing these areas we were all equally enamored especially with the Fish Market portion. The sushi restaurant we enjoyed was delicious and I can safely say that my sister from the Midwest that really doesn't enjoy fish, has been converted to enjoying sushi now. All of the samples along the way and the Japanese tea shop with traditional Japanese desserts were very yummy too! We were very happy with the timely communication and service from the company office, had zero complication with translations to English with our tour guide or company representatives. On a side note, even though the tour states 5 roughly 5.5 hours, this is just an estimate. Mike stayed with us and showed us around for almost 6.5-7 hours taking time to allow us to purchase souvenirs and take photos...Mike even took a few of our experiences as well and provided to us after the tour. A very good value!!!

Had a really good day. Thought it was an expensive trip when booking but given the experience, expertise and knowledge and caring our guide Mike put in, we thought it was worth every yen. Would highly recommend this trip an we would do it again given the opportunity.

This tour was the highlight of our time in Tokyo. Our guide was very good and very knowledgeable. There were 4 of us and we all had an amazing time. We were very impressed with the fish market, the sampling of all the food was excellent and our time in Asakusa was also amazing & interesting. Anyone visiting Tokyo should make this a must to do.
