This is a wonderful tour!!!! Our tour guide Yuko san is a very nice person. She introduced us all kinds of Japanese foods. I love tamagoyaki the most. It tastes so good!!! My girlfriend didn't feel well the night before this tour. So, she did not come on next day. I didn't expect any refund because I did not notify them. However, when Yuko san knew this, she contacted the company and negotiated a 25% refund back, which returned in a way of a present.

We joined the FooDrink tour at Tsukiji Fish Market, led by our very knowledgeable, friendly and fun guide Yuko. 3 hours well spent eating at the best stalls in Tsukiji’s old market, hearing about its history and touring the sites. We even stopped at a shrine where we learned about Shinto religion and proper etiquette of visiting temples. She was a fantastic guide who answered many questions and was warm and welcoming in our first few days in Tokyo. Thank you so much for this excellent experience! We will recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tokyo.

The tour was amazing and our guide, Toshi, was lovely. He explained all the important places and had preselected some wonderful cuisine. A must try in Tokyo

Japan Wonder Travel's Food & Drink Tour at Tsukiji Fish Market was fantastic! Our guide, Yoshino was amazing!!! She spoke very good English and was highly knowledgeable on the history of the fish market and of Japan as a whole. The food we sampled was delicious and a great representation of Japanese cuisine. If you are thinking about taking a food tour of the Tsakiji Fish Market, book your tour through Japan Wonder Travel and request Yoshino as your guide. You won't be disappointed!

One of the highlights of our time in Tokyo was the FooDrink Tour we took with Yeonmi. She not only educated us to the culture, but found us the best shops to try the incredible variety of food, Sake and Sushi. She is a very gracious host and we loved her sense of humor! I highly recommend time spent with her in the fish market.

Excellent tour! A good advice, don't come to the tour on a full stomach. Because great food is servered. Yummy fish and sake.

What a fabulous insight into the culture of Japan. So much history is revealed in seafood, rice, soy, tea and all the delicious confections found in the market. Thank you Tomo for sharing your history. Stand-up sushi, soy and ginger infused clams, sake education and tasting, apricot bean paste pastry goldfish and golden crunchy octopus fishpaste on a stick. Wonderful tour and a highlight of our trip! Thank you!

We had such a great tour of the Tsukiji fish market in Tokyo. Our amazing guide was Yeonmi Song-Hosoya. Yeonmi was so passionate and enthusiastic. Her tour was extremely informative. We did a group tour that was very small. It was better than an independant tour would have been in our case, as the other guests were also interactive and that was also additive to our experience. Thanks Yeonmi! We will definitely let you know when we are next in Tokyo so that we can take another tour! Best wishes, Leslye and Ian

Enjoyed the tour! Learned a lot about the history of the Tsukiji Fish Market and Japanese culture. I will certainly book another tour when we come back to Japan. Thank you!

We loved our visit to the fish market today with Naoko and 3 other great guests. Not only was it fun and intersting, we also enjoyed the yummy food samples along the way and found our guide Naoko to be so delightful, knowledgeable, passionate and helpful on all matters. So glad we chose this tour!

Naoko was truely a fantastic guide! Very knowledgeable and took us to eat some great foods! I was traveling by myself and would definitely recommend this tour for anyone! I ate so much that I could barely move! Naoko helped me enjoy the fish market like a true a Japanese! Thank you!

Our family did the Tsukiji tour this January and we had there best time ever. Our guide was so informative and had such a love of Tokyo that it shone through while she was telling us all about the culture. My advice would be to not have breakfast like we did before.... we had no idea how much food there was going to be, and we filled to the brim. The kids had a blast too, seeing behind the scenes and meeting local tradespeople was an experience we will never forget.

This tour was truly an amazing way to experience the culture and foods of Tokyo. Yuko was so friendly, accommodating, and hospitable! Having a guide that is a Japan native that speaks the language and has great knowledge about the area made it feel like we were getting a true feel for the culture (not just taken to the most touristy areas or shops). Highly HIGHLY recommend this tour!

What a fabulous morning we had with Yuko, experiencing Tsujiki (pronounced [skee-gee] Fish Market. Our small group of 4 quickly became friends as we strolled the stalls while Yuko explained the foods and their uses. Yuko was a delightful, warm guide who spoke beautiful English. She knows most of the shopkeepers and exchanges friendly banter during the walk. We tried Japanese omelette on a stick, many types of dried soy beans, red fin tuna, green tea and green tea candies, and sake. The morning culminated at a sushi restaurant in which we had an incredible meal of fish that must have only been caught shortly before. So glad we did this tour!

We did the market tour in a group of four on Saturday morning. Our guide was E-X-C-E-L-L-E-N-T! I would highly recommend this tour. Be sure to go on an empty stomach because there are plenty of snacks along the way.

What a wonderful experience! With our guide Eri, we were able to navigate the market and enjoy so many delicious bites. She was able to make it such an immersive experience and it was the highlight of our trip to Japan. While you can certainly wander the market alone, having such a kind and knowledgeable guide made the morning so much better. Thank you again Eri!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour! The meeting spot was convenient for people who are not familiar with the area. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made every effort that we enjoy the tour.

We had such a wonderful experience with this half day tour. Our gracious, experienced and knowledgeable tour guide Toshi-san is excellent. He brought us along the walking tour in a very comfortable pace. With snippets of info that made the tour very interesting and memorable. We learnt the right way to enjoy various food and of course sake! He shared and demonstrated how to cleanse and pray at one of our stop in a temple. And the tour ended with a delicious sushi meal. Toshi-San really looked after us and made sure that we got back to the right Metro station. I would not hesitate to recommend him and this tour to those who wants to experience a visit to Tsukiji. Thank you for providing an excellent tour.

I’m sitting at home in New York looking at the photos from my family’s trip to Japan. The photo of the four of us holding giant knives above the large tuna is definitely a keeper! Our fish market tour with Yoshika was a highlight of our trip! We learned about the fish, the market and the holiday treats. We ate fresh sushi that we had seen being carved from that big tuna. It was delicious. Yoshika was the best guide that we had on our entire trip. I highly recommend Japan Wonder and particularly this tour! Thank you Yoshika!

We met a very knowledgable and interesting guide, Yoshika san. She took us to fish/food market and Ginza area. What a great experience that was to see the market especially. We did try some of the local markets specialities. Very interesting and inspiring.

We had a wonderful food tour with Toshi. He was knowledgeable about the market, took us to a bunch of fun locations, and the value was well worth the cost of admission. Great to have someone guiding us through the various areas and telling us more about the culture. A personal favorite was when Toshi purchased traditional Japanese snacks for all 4 of us, what an unexpected treat! Would definitely recommend.
