Lily was a fantastic tour guide, introducing us to the vibrating city of Tokyo. We enjoyed the Programm, covering history of Japan and Tokyo as well as the current "heart beat" of an international City. Thank you so much Lily. Hope to see you again.Alex

We had two excellent 4 hour morning tours with Sachimi, our private guide arranged through Japan Wonder Travel. Sachimi was able to accommodate all of our requests, including some last minute changes. We experienced a real feel for Tokyo, including its back street markets, riding the subway, and a lovely river cruise.

As we had arrived in Tokyo a day later than planned we decided that a walking tour would be the best and quickest way to see at least some of the capital in the time we had.
Our guide was excellent and she spent more than the 4 hours allotted to us for this tour so that we could see as much as possible.
We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and got to see the Meji Shrine, Asakusa area and Senso-Ji temple, Shibuya’s crossing and round Shinjuku.
I would definitely do this tour again.

Yoko was an amazing guide. Very knowledgeable, friendly and flexible. She really took into account the various interests we had as a family of 4 including 2 girls. Our tour was jam-packed and we felt like every minute was well spent and thoughtfully planned out. We only wish we had more time to spend in exciting Tokyo with lovely Yoko.

We did a 4 hour walking tour with Mari on our first day in Tokyo. This was a perfect introduction to Tokyo and the metro line. Mari is EXCELLENT and we would highly recommend her tour to all!

Japan is GREAT...!
We had the great privilege to spend 2 days in Tokyo with Mr. Kazu Kato as our guide. He is the greatest guide. - High knowdledge about Japanese and Tokyo history. Further, he was very friendly and kind.
He did show us the great and "obvious" attractions but further, we went to see the historical and local venues.
Is highly recommended.

Michi provided an excellent and thorough tour. She even stayed after the agreed upon time to ensure we enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. It was helpful having someone local to answer questions and better understand the culture. I would highly recommend a personal walking tour.

it was our first night in Tokyo and Kazu (our tour guide) was such a pleasant experience. Because of Kazu, we love Japan and Japanese people even more and we can't wait to come back for another trip.

Kazu did a great job with my tour. He was very friendly and helpful. He picked me up at my Hotel and then took me around via subway to different parts of Tokyo including Roppongi and Imperial Palace. He also made sure I got back to my hotel as it was my first time in Japan and I wasn't sure about the travel routes. Great communication and tour as they send you email asking what you would like to see and do before you get your tour started. Japan is a wonderful place.

We scheduled the half day walking tour. Our guide was Yukio. Not a lot of people speak English in Tokyo but Yukio's English was perfect and easy to understand. He took us to the fish market (a must see) which was unbelievable. It is huge and you can purchase souvenirs there as well. It was nice to experience a part of the Japanese culture this way. We also visited Asakusa which happened to be having the Sanja Matsuri festival. Another wonderful culteral experience. There is all kinds of markets and restaurants in this area and it was nice having Yukio with us to help with the language barrier. I would book a tour with this agency again with no hesitation.

We had a fabulous afternoon with our wonderful guide, Yeonmi, who was very knowledgeable in all things Japanese. She was informative, fun, open, and full of great ideas for our Tour. We went to the Imperial Palace Gardens which were exquisite, and then to the Asakusa district by train and subway to see several Buddhist Temples and have a Macha tea ceremony. It was all very educational and so much fun! Thank you, Yeonmi!

Thank you to our fantastic tour guide, Mami. We are so happy that we booked this tour for our first day in Japan. She helped us purchase Pasmo cards which we were able to use in Kyoto also. Without her we would not have found our way around the market, Asakusa and theSensoji Temple. She also introduced us to the customs surrounding the temple. Finally, she found a nice Ramen place for lunch. She was knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful.

Great tour! Our guide, Kumi, was wonderful! She was friendly and informative, and made sure to customize our tour based on our requests. She provided great background knowledge of the Meiji Shrine, which we would not have known had we toured on our own. She showed us the highlights of Harajuku and Omotesando, and provided time for some souvenir shopping as well. Finally, she made sure we got same-day tickets for a tour to the Imperial Palace. A great day in Tokyo!

Yeonmi was the best tour guide we have ever had. She was both extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and her English was fantastic. We hated to part ways at the end of the day! Beyond the tour, she also took us to a delicious soba noodle lunch. I'd recommend a tour with her to anyone looking to explore Tokyo and get a little taste of all of its history. Thank you again Yeonmi!

We did a last minute trip change which allowed us a full day stop at Tokyo before heading for our honeymoon. We booked the half-day tour two days before arrival. Our hotel was by Narita airport, which was over an hour away from downtown Tokyo. Our tour guide Kazu, actively communicated with us via hotel front desk because he didn't have our contact info at the time and informed us what time to meet on the day of the trip. The next day he arrived at our hotel more than an hour earlier because he wanted to save us more time for sight seeing instead of commute (we spent 1 hour on commute getting to downtown). Not only did we started earlier, Kazu stayed with us 2 hours after planned tour to make sure we get to the Robot show (we pre-booked online) on time. He took us to a variety of tourist sites in Tokyo and more than willing to accommodate our requests and changes. He also brought a variety of Tokyo maps and public transport timetables for us, which saved us a lot of money on getting back to the hotel by ourselves. What I appreciate the most is he took pictures of us throughout the trip without charging extra. Later he sent me a link with all the photos he took, which left very precious memories on our first Tokyo trip. He is also a great photographer by taking photos in a variety of different angles. Kazu went extra miles on making sure we had a great tour in Tokyo and he is very knowledgeable in local history and culture. We had a great time going to the fish market, enjoying a great meal at an authentic sushi restaurant recommended by Kazu, Saki tasting, seeing Shibuya Crossing, and visiting the Electronic Mall.

Amigo was fantastic host for Japan. He was well prepared and took care of all the little details. It was great to have someone with local knowledge and also having grown up in Japan. The time together flew past so quickly, but was perfect given our limited time in Japan. A big thank you for all the great insights shared. Highly recommend Amigo to be your host!

We had a delightful tour with Tomo in Tokyo. After picking us up at our hotel, we visited the temple at Asakusa. Tomo was great with the history behind the Temple and helped us learn the traditions followed by those visiting it today. Our stop there also included a taste of saki at a local brewer and a light snack. Aside from enjoying the saki, we learned a lot about the brewing process and industry. From there, we took a train across town to the Meiji Shrine followed by a visit to the Harajuku section of the city where we took in some of the unique commercial venues that cater to young and not-so-young in Tokyo. Tomo was a terrific guide, giving us both the technical information about the shrines and temples as well as a great look inside the experience of today’s residents in Tokyo. We highly recommend her to anyone visiting Tokyo.

Kazu was an amazing guide. Knowledgeable, respectful, energetic, flexible and engaging. It truly felt like we were travelling with a gracious old friend. We crisscrossed Tokyo in a half day tour and made changes to the original "itinerary" along the way to accommodate the weather, our appetites and our desire to incorporate a less touristy off the beaten path part of the city. We went to Meiji shrine for a peaceful interlude and learned the customs and then down Omotesando to Takeshita street to view the shops and people and get a jolt of sensory overload, and then headed across the city to a street full of small markets and food we that never would have gone to and where Kazu seemed to know everyone from the miso specialist to the tea vendor (Kameido). Despite going an hour over our scheduled time he still escorted us all the way back to our hotel and even followed up with an email of suggestions based on interests we discussed during our conversation throughout the day.
One of a kind - 11/10!

My wife and I had a wonderful time with Japan Wonder Travel. We elected to do a half-day tour of Tokyo. Our guide, Toshi, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He worked with us to make sure we hit all the sights we were interested in and really went out of his way to make our trip memorable. We are still amazed at all the sights and information we packed into the tour. We highly recommend this company and look forward to booking with them again, the next time we visit Japan. Hopefully soon!

Hana was the most informative, helpful, and friendly guide we have ever had. There is no way we could have gotten around Tokyo and seen the sights we saw without her constant help and guidance. I recommend her highly. We appreciate her excellent English and her patience with us.
