We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Lily. She was warm, informative and engaging. She shared with us cultural insights as well as landmarks. We loved sampling her favorite foods at Tsujkiji market. She also took us to a standing sushi bar for amazing sushi. We highly recommend Lily. Susan and Andy kantor

A halfday walking tour through Tokyo with Kazu is a definite must for all travellers, whether your stay is long or short. Kazu brings a truly exceptional and unique way of experiencing such a great city to the fore. Mixing a combination of mainstream attractions, off the beaten track adventures and 100% authentic culinary experiences! He not only explained Japanese traditions and culture but also gave us a taste of it. All of the above, combined with his fun sense of humour makes for a day you and your friends will never forget! Thanks for going over and above to accommodate us even when we arrived quite late due to travelling from far. We enjoyed every bit of it and appreciated that you showed us much more than we expected. We can highly recommend Kazu as a guide.

We had a great time with Sachimi in our tour around Tokyo. She was extremely friendly and she took us to places with good food and interesting history. She also was very educational when answering all of questions. Thanks for the good time!

Great customised tour with the knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly Tak. His English was excellent and he adapted to meet our wishes as we went along. We squashed in a lot in just 4 hours. Well done Tak! Thumbs up to Japan Wonder Travel!

The private half day tour today was wonderful. Akiyo made me feel very welcome and comfortable with travelling in the subway and getting around. She was great at explaining the cultural significance of the beautiful Shrines and temples and Japanese history. She also gave good advice on where to buy the best quality souvenirs, places to eat, and other things I could do on my trip. Thank you Akiyo for a great first morning in Japan!

Yuriko Kimura was our guide and was excellent. Very friendly, great English. Took us to all great spots and was able to explain things in a very good way we could understand. Yuriko even took us to some out of the way special places . Highly recommend Yuriko.

Thanks to Kazu Kato we enjoyed an excellent walking tour of Tokyo. Kazu provided a wonderful introduction and insight into Tokyo for us as Tokyo first timers and ensured we became ‘expert’ metro users. This enabled us to explore Tokyo on our own and made our following few days in Tokyo so interesting and fun. We would highly recommend Kazu as a guide - Kazu is very generous and giving of both his time and knowledge and this tour exceeded our expectations.

Miss Asaka, thank you for such a wonderful tour!!! Thanks to you Alex & I are much more comfortable with the metro system (Alex is now an expert haha!!) and we felt very comfortable with Japanese customs like walking on the left side of the road, not eating while walking, and being very conscious of our own trash. You were an excellent hostess, thank you for such a wonderful experience! Let us know if you ever visit San Diego, we would love to return the favor!!! Kindly, Solena & Alex Barrera

Tak was an amazing guide who really helped us get the most of our last day in Tokyo. He was very knowledgeable and has so much love for his country and really wanted to share that with us. We love japan. We love Tokyo. When we return we will definitely have Tak guide us to a great time again! We had a lot of challenging requests and he came through for all of the them.

We did this tour with Yoko and had a really great day with her. She was so friendly and kind and catered the trip to make it special and fun. We visited Meiji Shrine, Harajuku, and Asakusa. She was knowledgeable about the sites and told interesting stories along the way. She made it fun for our 12 and 14 year old (make sure you try the photo booth on Takeshita Street!). I would recommend this trip.

Skip was a wonderful guide who helped us to get familiar with Tokyo at the start of our week. Highly recommended!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our private tour with Kazu-san! His explanation of Japanese history and culture was insightful and interesting, and he provided a great mix of historical and contemporary facts and attractions. He was flexible and accommodating to our interests and needs, and he was willing to go at whatever pace we were up to or whatever we wanted to see. Kazu-san has a wonderful disposition and he is extremely pleasant and funny, and he got my pregnant wife a "maternity badge" for the metro which was very thoughtful and considerate. (These are displayed to identify a pregnant woman and she was offered a seat on a full train, and was given priority access at a museum exhibition). He is a wonderful guide and it was our pleasure spending time with him, and we will see him again the next time we visit Tokyo!

I booked a private tour with Noriko to show me where the locals hang out in Tokyo and to get a genuine and authentic understanding of the culture. Noriko was the sweetest tour guide I have ever had. She had an answer for every question I had and went above and beyond explaining the culture in Japan. She took me to places off the beaten path that I never would have experienced or found on my own. She was worth every penny and so much more. She genuinely made my trip to Tokyo one I'll never forget!!! Thank you Noriko !

We had an excellent guided tour in Tokyo with our guide Tak. We were a group of 8 people, including children and he made a special tour that suited us perfect. He rememberd all our names, and even talked to the children so thay felt iocluded. He showed us many intresting things and also explained every thing we asked for in a intresting way. We are very pleased with the tour.

A very interesting walking tour with Yuki in the streets of Yanaka and Kagurazaka. Some of Tokyo’s oldest wooden buildings, now housing little shops, workshops and private residencies. Shrines, one with a beautiful Japanese garden, another one with hundreds of azeleas in bloom... With Yuki’s explanations to what we saw - a delightful afternoon.

We had Yoko as our guide for the tour and she was wonderful! Charming and well informed, she took us around Meiji Shrine and Asakusa Shrine and also around Shibuya where we were staying. We had our kids with us, one of whom was on a stroller, so we were slow but despite running behind schedule due to the kids, she never tried to hurry us or skip over things. The kids were quite sad to leave her in the evening. Your company is lucky to have employees like her and we will be sure to use JapanWonder Travel next time we want a guide in Japan.

4 hours is not enough time to see a small part of Tokyo, she was helpful but we felt in a hurry all the time. Our suggestion is to offer only 8 hours tours in Tokyo.

An excellent tour extremely well organised by our guide, Skip. He made it so interesting and was very courteous and helpful throughout - a memorable experience.

Fantastic Tour Guides - we really enjoyed our experience in Kyoto and Tokyo. Japan World Travel provided various guides and tours and arranged baseball tickets and train tickets, etc.. Yeonmi was a fantastic guide for several days. Really great with our 12 year old kids and informative about the city.
