What can I say? We were blessed to have the most incredible host in Mari, in fact for a full day tour - a delightful, friendly, professional and knowledgable guide for whom nothing was too much trouble. After meeting us at our hotel as planned, we chatted about what we'd like to see snd she had clearly thought out some different options beforehand depending on our preferences. We spent the morning at Tsukiji fish market where her inside knowledge of what to try and see was invaluable, trying the most incredible dishes while explaining a little about each one. We then toured Akihabara since our sons were interested in Anime, before having lunch at an excellent Ramen restaurant. After visiting a nearby shrine, at our request Mari then took us to a beautiful traditional garden where she explained the history behind everything we saw. We cannot thank her enough, as well as the flawless organisation by Japan Wonder Travel who were excellent throughout. We feel we have made a true friend - Mari continued to recommend places for us to go and eat in the days to come, when we were having to change all our travel plans in light of the virus outbreak. Simply outstanding.

We had such a great time in Tokyo with Yuriko! She was a delight. We only had one day and she helped a diverse age group (child to senior) make the most of it, with something for everyone, from resolving an issue with our Suica cards and helping us navigate, to touring the Tsukiji fish market (we wouldn’t have known what to do without Yuriko!), to visiting the Meiji Shrine and ending the day shopping at Takeshita Street for the teen in the group. Yuriko was full of fun facts and information, and was so good with the kids - even entertaining them on the subway by teaching Japanese and origami! We enjoyed all our time in Japan - everywhere we went people were so friendly and helpful! - but this tour was a highlight.

Tak was our tour guide. He spoke excellent English. We went to the East Garden of the Imperial Palace and Senso-ji in Asakusa. The garden is large with high wall as its defence mechanism. As it is winter, there are not a lot of coloured flowers. However, peaceful to walk around in busy Tokyo. Tak showed us how to use the subway system and took us to Asakusa. It was very crowded because it is the beginning of January on Saturday afternoon (Japanese like to wish for a good year at the start of the year). Tak also showed us some traditions the Japanese do when they go to a temple, e.g. cleansing yourself, making wishes and telling your fortune. It was all very interesting. There were also many souvenir and street food stalls. It was fun to see the local customs.

We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour with Kazu. We learned so much about Tokyo and the Japanese culture. Kazu is very proud of his country and to taught us some interesting history and traditions. Our tour was tailored to suit our interests and to adapt to the New Year crowds and festivities. We highly recommend this half day tour with Kazu!

A halfday walking tour through Tokyo with Kazu is a definite must for all travellers, whether your stay is long or short. Kazu brings a truly exceptional and unique way of experiencing such a great city to the fore. Mixing a combination of mainstream attractions, off the beaten track adventures and 100% authentic culinary experiences! He not only explained Japanese traditions and culture but also gave us a taste of it. All of the above, combined with his fun sense of humour makes for a day you and your friends will never forget! Thanks for going over and above to accommodate us even when we arrived quite late due to travelling from far. We enjoyed every bit of it and appreciated that you showed us much more than we expected. We can highly recommend Kazu as a guide.

The private half day tour today was wonderful. Akiyo made me feel very welcome and comfortable with travelling in the subway and getting around. She was great at explaining the cultural significance of the beautiful Shrines and temples and Japanese history. She also gave good advice on where to buy the best quality souvenirs, places to eat, and other things I could do on my trip. Thank you Akiyo for a great first morning in Japan!

Yuriko Kimura was our guide and was excellent. Very friendly, great English. Took us to all great spots and was able to explain things in a very good way we could understand. Yuriko even took us to some out of the way special places . Highly recommend Yuriko.

Thanks to Kazu Kato we enjoyed an excellent walking tour of Tokyo. Kazu provided a wonderful introduction and insight into Tokyo for us as Tokyo first timers and ensured we became ‘expert’ metro users. This enabled us to explore Tokyo on our own and made our following few days in Tokyo so interesting and fun. We would highly recommend Kazu as a guide - Kazu is very generous and giving of both his time and knowledge and this tour exceeded our expectations.

Miss Asaka, thank you for such a wonderful tour!!! Thanks to you Alex & I are much more comfortable with the metro system (Alex is now an expert haha!!) and we felt very comfortable with Japanese customs like walking on the left side of the road, not eating while walking, and being very conscious of our own trash. You were an excellent hostess, thank you for such a wonderful experience! Let us know if you ever visit San Diego, we would love to return the favor!!! Kindly, Solena & Alex Barrera

Tak was an amazing guide who really helped us get the most of our last day in Tokyo. He was very knowledgeable and has so much love for his country and really wanted to share that with us. We love japan. We love Tokyo. When we return we will definitely have Tak guide us to a great time again! We had a lot of challenging requests and he came through for all of the them.
